There’s going to be an electronic music night at the Holiday Inn Salmiya on July 21st at 9 pm. Those of you who have no plans for Thursday night which might just end up being dusty for all you know, this seems to be a good escape.

The Freeze Club at 360 Mall is having a tournament for Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on Friday, July 15th at 6pm. There is an entry cost of KD 5.

I remember all the summer breaks back in the school days when my sister and I would take turns in playing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat with my brother on his Sega Mega Drive and we would fight so much in real because he didn’t like losing and he hated it when I would corner his character and unleash my favorite combo moves in repeat mode! Lately I’ve played a lot of Tekken and if only it was a Tekken tournament, I would have participated to kick some serious ass.

I saw on Danderma that Crumbs is having a Harry Potter Trivia Competition to celebrate the release of the last movie which will be on July 12th at 12am in Kuwait (3 days before the worldwide release).

To enter the competition, all you need to do is answer some Crumbs and Harry Potter trivia by going to this [Link]. When you have answered all the questions correctly, your name will enter the draw once for a chance to win 3 VIP tickets to attend Crumbs Movie Night at the 360 Mall VIP Cinema to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 on Wednesday, July 13th. There will be more than one winner by the way.

Last date to enter is July 9th. Winners will be announced on July 10th and each winner will be called to be informed.

The Cancer Aware Nation “CAN” has launched a photography competition to raise awareness for cancer prevention through healthy food choices as the theme of the competition. The participants will have to focus on the quality and quantity of healthy food vs. unhealthy food as well as the healthy and unhealthy methods of cooking in their photographs.

Froobie has a new competition this summer called crEATe Froobie where the customers create their own combination of flavors and toppings and tweet it @Froobie_ for a chance to win a Froobie prize. Winners are selected weekly based on the number of “Likes” on their Facebook page.

The second season of Arabs Got Talent will be starting soon and its going to be held in Dubai this time. The auditions for Kuwaiti talent will take place tomorrow, June 14th from 10am-6pm at the Shamiya Theater opposite the cooperative.
