Last month we completed our blog’s first year! The graph above is a look at our statistics over the year. Although we had ups and downs with our holidays, time-offs and pure laziness, it’s good to see that our numbers keep climbing back up. The biggest fall in numbers was in March when we took a month-long holiday and it took us a while to get back to regular blogging. And the second time in November because of the lazy winter time :)

Here’s a look at our Social Media numbers:

Now with the start of the new year, we will try to be more regular with our blog posts, attend more blogger gatherings and try to be more social. A big thanks to all our readers! Keep visiting.

I took some time off to redesign the entire blog as you can see its a 3-column blog now. I’ve been wanting to ditch the 2-column for some time now but it seemed quiet impossible to add an extra column into my old theme so I ried out a bunch of different ones and  finally settled down with Xplosive!. This was the only theme that looked very close to the one I was using earlier and I’m very happy with how everything is so neat and in place but there are still a few things that need tweaking and I’m totally at it.

Since today was a quiet day, I thought of playing around with the blog design to tweak it up a little bit and ended up changing the banner completely with a few other not-so-noticeable changes. How do you like it?

It has been exactly two months since we launched and the number of visitors has been growing everyday! Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new month so I thought of sharing the stats with our readers. In the month of December we had a total of 1370 unique visitors while in January it jumped beyond our expectation to 7020 visitors.

Our blog was down for over one frustrating hour and now we are back online! It was down due to some technical problem from the service provider.

Those of you who are regular visitors here may have noticed that the site has undergone many changes over the past two weeks. I’ve added some new features and removed a few things that I didn’t need on the page. I don’t have much knowledge of web designing & coding, reason why I took my sweet time to figure out one thing at a time and execute one idea a day. The process has been fun and I’m happy with the overall look of the site now.

I’m still working on getting the right banner for the blog that would be permanent. At first my idea was to keep the entire site just Black & White but then it looked very empty so I introduced the color red to even things out. Leave a comment if you like the new look – suggestions are always welcome.
