Everyone’s favorite seasonal drinks are back at Starbucks! I personally love the Frappuccino since I’m more into cold coffee, and love the yummy whipped cream with the crunchy sprinkles!

That said, Hash & I have actually stopped having our coffees at Starbucks ever since they changed their milk and turned their Frapps into a watery tasteless mess. I used to be a crazy fan of theirs but now we get our fill from Coffee Bean or Caribou Coffee, and all I go to Starbucks for is their layered carrot cake, love it!

Here’s a little reminder which is probably not needed since we all know what happens at the H&M stores in Kuwait and worldwide when they launch their designer collaboration collections. In any case as I posted previously, tomorrow is the launch of the Versace for H&M collection at their Avenues & Marina Mall stores, so get ready ladies!

We received an invitation from Alshaya for their exclusive event to be one of the first to preview and shop the collection at 8am tomorrow but had to decline sadly since we have work the same day.

Jazeera finally launches some sort of a loyalty program for it’s customers. All you have to do it collect 10 boarding passes and get a free one way ticket to any of their destinations. I was hoping that they would have a frequent flyer card since I love collecting loyalty cards.

The Homework Club is having a special offer for visiting their Facebook page and getting 10% off plus 2 free sessions at the Club.

For those who don’t know, the Homework Club helps children aged 6-12 with their homework completion and also offers reading and physical education as well. Since school is back on after a long Eid break, it will be great for your kids to get some extra attention and help with their homework.

It’s been a while since we posted on the blog. I had been meaning to take a much needed break for a while and finally got my chance with all the Eid holidays last week! It was nice to just rest and relax and be disconnected from everything else, I actually got a lot of other stuff done and it turned out to be a perfect time out.

Hash has been busy with setting up his music room which he had been waiting to do from a while but couldn’t find the time away from work. So basically it was a nice restful and productive little break for the both of us.

Back to work and all else now so it’s time to snap out of the holiday mood although I wish I could just sleep the whole month!

Movenpick Hotel Al Bida’a is apparently having the biggest kids’ carnival for Eid. They have planned a lot of activities and games for the kids while the adults can enjoy a beach party atmosphere with the DJ spinning some rock and pop tunes. There’s also going to be raffle prize draws.

Last year IKEA Kuwait had held the Soft Toy Campaign to donate one euro from each Soft Toy sold to UNICEF and educational projects run by Save the Children.

This year they are planning to re-launch the campaign but this time they will donate to the Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice to help develop the organization’s overall process. The campaign will run from 1st November 1 to 24th December and will donate 1€ for every soft toy sold at its store to BACCH.

So don’t forget to stop by and pick up a cute cuddly toy from IKEA next time you visit the the Avenues Mall and do something worthwhile for a good cause.

The weather is absolutely amazing these days! Cool, cloudy and breezy with the humidity and dust in check. It’s a shame having to go to work, I’d rather be out with Hash by the beach enjoying it all with my favorite ice blended mocha! Well, it’s a good thing that the Eid holidays are just around the corner. I just hope we get 9 days off, there were some rumors that we might have to get back to work on Wednesday & Thursday =/

For now I wish this weather would just stay like this forever!
