Last month I had posted about the Battle of the Year 2011 Middle East Qualifier for breakdancing or b-boying. Well it happened yesterday at the Dubai Mall and the UAE crew ‘Over Boys’ won the Braun Battle of the Year Middle East Championships.

The finals will be on 19th November at Arena Montpellier in France.

A friend of mine just told me about the Burger King on Salem Al-Mubarak street. Apparently he went there last night to grab a late dinner since he figured it’s the only branch that’s open 24 hours but when he got there it was closed. And they have a 24hr service sticker on the glass.

I just called them to ask about it and the lady says that it’s open only till 1am and the sticker means that it’s open everyday but not 24hrs. I’m sure she doesn’t know what she’s talking about but anyways it sucks because it used to be one of our hangout spots in the middle of the night.

I’m currently re-doing my home studio and I’m looking for the best deal for a 27″ iMac with a 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and 8GB memory. All the iMacs come with a 4GB memory so I will have to buy an additional 4GB to upgrade it.

My friend emailed me about this malfunctioned VIVA Quick Payment Kiosk at the Kuwait Airport. Apparently there is some glitch in the system when you try to pay your bill, the machine takes the money but then it displays an error response saying ‘Failure Transaction’. This happened with a few people there and they haven’t put the machine out of order yet. So if anyone’s planning to pay their VIVA bills at the airport, please avoid this kiosk.
